Exceptional luxury quality, this beautiful four piece Dessert Service was made by a prestigious silversmith in the 1800's. This fine quality set includes an elegantly pierced serving spoon, a serving spreader and fork, and a pierced server. The ornate handles feature decorative Napoleon III classical foliate and floral designs including roses. Sets like this were used at the most exclusive tables, the spoon to be used as sugar sifter, the flat server to serve petit patisserie, the spreader or knife to slather jam or curd on a biscuit, and the fork for fruit.
