Rare to find, this Antique Zinc Watering Can with Long Spout and Rose is gorgeous. Beautiful patina, rich history, no doubt, of watering English roses for decades. Made in the early part of the 1900's, what gardener wouldn't adore this one? From a collector of the most unusual watering cans I've seen to date.
Traditional round body design with a back and cross handle, it retains the detachable oval shaped rose. A stunning decorative example of its genre, weathered beautifully over time and has developed a rich patina. It comes in functional condition with normal wear including minor dents to the body and rose, it was resoldered at one time, holds water. Marked 10 pint on the bottom, bottom is slightly rounded.
