Early Antique Majolica Pitcher, ewer or jug with a beautiful apple blossom design on cream bark effect background. A collectable 19th century piece, despite issues I fell head over heels in love with this piece because of the colors. Rare to find in these hues of pink, aqua green and chartreuse yellow, with a touch of gilt.
Made in the 1870's - 1880's, you can see mold lines down the front and back. The pitcher has a wide circular mouth that tapers to a spout. Two hairlines as shown on the top, please only buy this if you adore the rare colors enough to forgive that. A wonderful piece to display with your collection of antique French, English and American Majolica.
