Finest quality 19th century jug or pitcher, made in the mid 1800's by the exceptional pottery firm Copeland,  founded in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England in 1847. Rare to find this Hop Vine pitcher with its original pewter fitted top, this rare and highly collectable piece is a true work of art, valued for its creative design and high quality.

Most likely intended to serve beer, the design wraps hop vines around the pitcher with detailed leaves. Gorgeous! From a collector, this is in such fine condition. Beautiful color, a find!
