Exquisite Antique Art Nouveau Silver Plated Quadruple Centerpiece Bowl with hand crafted silver sculpted blooming flowers dancing all around the rim and foot. Made by the Homan Manufacturing Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, in the 19th century. Such a beauty! The flowers are on a garland of stems and leaves.
The pedestal bowl is beautifully designed with serpentine rims, and has all the lovely design details of the Art Nouveau era. Marked Quadruple Plate, warranted by Homan Silver Plate Co. Special Metal along with inscribed butler's numbers on the bottom. There is slight wear on the inside of the bowl, nothing detracting. From a collector, in good antique condition, with a note of a slight flattening on one side of the bowl from the time the new jr. butler dropped it while giving it a polish. {he was never asked again.}
