There is a lovely decorative reeded and crossed border on the silver collar.
Marked with the French mark for sterling 950 {our American sterling is only 925}, this bottle dates to the 1850-1880 period. From a grand collection, obviously loved by the lady who kept her very favorite scent in this bottle. A 19th century stunner, decorative as well as useful. Fully hallmarked on the silver top and collar. I have not been able to find the silver smith.
