Stunning 19th century Blue and White Transfer Serving Bowl, made by Regout, Maastricht, in the 1800's. Petrus Regout descended from a Maastricht merchant family active in glass and earthenware since the 17th century. He established the De Sphinx pottery in 1836 it operated until 1899. {John and I stayed in his little castle on our last buying trip!}

This bowl is just beautiful, a stunning scene depicts an abbey in rich cobalt blue. Transfer printed, the bowl is a heavy piece, and a rare to find large size. A perfect addition to your collection of blue and white, can serve at your table or fill this with mandarins for an instant centerpiece. Looks amazing with an orchid nestled in moss, too!

  • Measures 8" x 4-1/8"h.
