This delicate and lovely 19th Century French Old Paris Porcelain Cherub BonBon Server is adorned with embossed cherubs and hand painted gilt embellishments on a pristine white background. It is beautifully supported by elegant and decorative gilded bronze mounts and rests on three Louis XV style feet. From France, it is a treasure with the grace of time.
This delightful French egg shaped casket would have been sold in one of the luxury Porcelain boutiques of Paris in the 1800's. Pieces like this were created by Sevres, Limoges and any number of fine quality porcelain producers, this one has a very faint blue mark but I can't decipher it. There is wear to the gilt as shown. This is a delightful addition to your collection. Not just for your favorite chocolates, this will be happy to keep your favorite diamonds on your vanity, too.
