Exquisite Decorative Antique Ironstone Footed Tureen with Lid made in England in the mid 1800's at the Dale Hall Works, Stoke-on-Trent, England. These old family heirloom serving pieces are getting rare to find in this condition. This is such a charming shape, with lovely detailed foliate handles. What makes this tureen special is the embossed lily of the valley design, it embellishes the tureen, and the lid. So pretty! {it's really hard to photograph!}

The finial is a finely crafted bud of the lily of the valley flower. Large enough to serve your gourmet food, fine haricot vert, a flower arrangement as your centerpiece,  or as an objet d'art on display in your antique hutch with your collection. White Ironstone is increasing in popularity, this piece will be a most welcome addition or start of your collection.  Has the slight grayish tint of most English ironstone. Early imprinted mark Dale Hall.
