Gorgeous Antique Flow Blue Floral Plate, with a lovely decorative embossed and scalloped rim. Made by Alfred Meakin, Tunstall, England in 1891, this plate has a deep rim with a beautiful floral and scrollwork border, the colors are deep to lighter blue, what collectors love to see in a good piece of flow blue. {more photos coming!}
The central floral bouquet is so detailed, it is the essence of a garden flower bouquet just picked in an English garden. In good antique condition, with a lighter area on the back where the glaze ran a little. Has the three stilt marks from the kiln you want to see on an older piece like this. Fabulous addition to your collection or the beginning of one!
