Antique French Glass Bottle, from the early 1900's, used for Eau de Dentifrice Botot. Dr. Julien Botot is recognized as the very first creator of tooth dentrifices {toothpaste} which he created for King Louis XV of France in 1755. This little glass bottle is not that old, it was used to sell a liquid tooth care product.
Great small size, in very good condition, these are unused store stock, they have all the strawmarks, bubbles and uneveness in the glass you want to see in early glass. Veritable Eau Dentrifice de BOTOT, Bureaux a Paris, Usine a Levallois is what is on the front.
