Stunning Antique Apothecary or Candy Jar likely used in a drug store, soda fountain, or general store. This high, tall and slim beauty was made in 1900 by the Tiffin Glass Co., it is the Columbia Swirl Pattern. {#20057} These pedestal footed display jars were offered with ground or non-ground lids, this is the original non-ground lid. You can see the mold seams like you should, there are a few small bubbles evident.

This type of container or jar was used to display gumballs, wrapped candies, or other small "sellables" in a shop, often on the counter or in a window display. Swirled design on the top of the jar, and the on the elegant finial knob lid. A decorative and collectible jar with unlimited uses, candy, wine corks on your bar, or stunning to display with your collection of EAPG glass. Measures: not quite 20" h .
