Fabulous collectable Shop Tins, these Betjeman & Barton Green canisters are large, used in the famous Tea shop in Paris on the Rue de Malesherbes. Since 1919 Betjeman & Barton have been the French tea experts. Their glass and wood shop in Paris is a showcase for all Betjeman & Barton teas, and has served up their more than 250 special blends for almost a century. How fun are these?
Rare to find in this shop storage size, they are a statement making decorative accent for your kitchen, or just somewhere in your French Country home. The tops are a little bumpy after decades of being taken off the shelf to scoop tea for customers, but the paint and graphics are beautifully intact. I am not sure how old these are, but the tins used in the Paris shop now are silver, and have been so for quite a while. Please choose one, or both, to store your teas, or to display with your antique and vintage tea pots!
