Beautiful Scraps, or diecuts, of a Victorian Father Christmas made by well known scrap relief manufacturer Paul B. Zoecke Company of Berlin, which was founded in 1896, these date to the early 1920's. Rare to find in this size, each stunning Santa Claus, Pere Noel or Father Christmas was printed so expertly, colorful and vibrant. Finely embossed, they carry Christmas Trees, and plenty of gifts! The assortment of lebkuchen, special Christmas cookies beautifully decorated fills their sacks with colorfully wrapped gifts, toys, no doubt, and one doll peeking out of a pocket! 

Printed on medium weight paper with a satin finish, these are old unused stock I was thrilled to find on our latest buying trip. Perfect to frame, to make holiday ornaments with, to embellish gifts for the holidays, an exciting decorative find! Marked PBZ. Each Santa measures 6-1/2" x 2-1/4". Sold per sheet, 4 Santas as shown.
