Beautiful set of twelve tea spoons made in England by Joseph Elliot and Sons of Sheffield. This set was no doubt a wedding gift, each spoon was monogrammed with a decorative K. It's always a treat to find a complete set like this, with the original velvet lined presentation case. Silver plated, each spoon is signed with the maker's hallmark.
Each spoon has the elegant classic style of the 1920's, and while here in the states we call them "demi-tasse", in England and Europe this is actually the correct size for tea and coffee. The fitted case has some wear, which is expected after almost a century, it has done a stellar job keeping the set in very good condition. Amazing set for serving tea or coffee in your most gracious manner.
