Fabulous 19th Century French Bronze Gilt Dore Picture Frame, in Empire style with a beautiful Bow & Floral Crown. Frame is rectangular and has substantial border with Neoclassical motifs, just beautiful, acquired in France. I would date this decorative gem to 1830 - 1850. Frame features an easel stand and a hanging bale, and it has the original pink and pistachio green silk fabric backing. {photo not included.}
