As seen in the Holiday Issue of Victorian Homes Magazine
Beautiful decorative Biscuit Warmer, composed of two shell-shaped sides with repousse decoration, hinged to close like a clam shell. Supported by an ornate openwork stand, and a ring at the very top. When the shell is opened there are two pierced platforms that conform to the shape of the shell that are also hinged to allow for circulation.
Getting quite rare to find in good condition, this collectible silver plated warmer is especially lovely with floral designs on the handle, frame and feet. Absolutely divine to use by the fire for tea time, to display with your other Victorian silver in your collection, and a conversation starter on your most elegant and beautiful table at holiday or party time. A gem!
Please use care when opening, you are meant to use the silver "tabs" at the top to open and close. Measures 9" x 4~3/4" x 10~1/4"h, 14" when opened.
