Exceptional fine porcelain Perl Centerpiece made by world renowned Nymphenburg of Germany. Originally designed by Dominikus Auliczek in the 18th century, this pattern is one of the most desired and avidly collected finest porcelain ever made by Nymphenburg. Inspired by the elegant stylistic elements of Louis XVI, this was the the first dinner service in Europe with a dodecagonal shape ever created. The decoration, Feston Nr. 1390, was designed in 1929 by Rudolf Diewock.
Pristine White, 12 sided, the high quality raised design has gilded acanthus leaves and scroll acanthus handles, masterfully hand painted floral garlands and laurel leaf wreaths encircling a single Pink rose, the bowl rests on four ball feet. A characteristic feature of Auliczek's design is the raised acanthus decorations. Porcelain doesn't get any more stunning than this, this is what collectors dream of.
