Lovely decorative early 1800's Blue & White Faience Tea Bowl, with a wonderful scalloped floral pattern on the outside and the surprise of a bird on a flowering branch inside. Tea was quite an expensive luxury in the 1800's, with the key to the tea caddy carefully kept on a chatelaine by the home's mistress. This lovely earthenware cup was no doubt treasured, it may or may not have originally come with a saucer.
