Lovely decorative early 1800's Blue & White Faience Tea Bowl, with a wonderful scalloped floral pattern on the outside and the surprise of a bird on a flowering branch inside.  Tea was quite an expensive luxury in the 1800's, with the key to the tea caddy carefully kept on a chatelaine by the home's mistress. This lovely earthenware cup was no doubt treasured, it may or may not have originally come with a saucer.

Gorgeous addition to your collection of antique porcelain, collectible flow blue color, transfer pattern with that lustrous glaze so beloved by 19th century potters.  As is acceptable and almost always present on pieces this age there are a few areas of the transfer with a little miss, a few miniscule chips to the rim.  Measures 3" in diameter x 2"h.
