This beautiful Union Case was made by the Littlefield, Parsons & Co., which started producing thermoplastic Union Cases under that company name in 1858. Features an exquisite design of a little girl petting a large dog, on both sides of the case, surrounded by a lush garden with an apple tree, and grapevines. She is wearing a straw bonnet, cape, and clothing of the 1800's.
The case is in good antique condition, there is a small chip on one side which is negligible. Inside, the case is missing the glass and frames, this is how we found it. One side bears the original paper label, the other has a tintype of a baby. So decorative, a sweet petit treasure for your antique case collection, but also a stunning addition to your box collection,
