Antique Celluloid Velvet Violets Luxury Postcard in Box

 

Beautiful early 1900's Celluloid Postcard, presented in the original Box and Paper, unused. Amazing detailing of softest "Velvet" backing with Embossed Purple Velvet Violets, gilded applied Leaves, Hearty Congratulations {which I believe is metal} and outlining of German Glass Glitter all make this a fabulous find. Extremely difficult and rare to find in this condition, the box has wear and tear, and has done its job admirably for the last 100 years of keeping the Postcard in such beautiful condition.
