Rare Antique Staffordshire Blue Willow & Hand Carved Butter Dish made by George Jones in Stoke, Stoke on Trent, England in the 1870's. The Blue Willow insert is removable for washing, it is stamped with the hallmark for George Jones.
Quite rare to find with the original insert, the rich colored treen butter dish features intricate and deeply carved detail of 'Butter' and foliage detail. This will be a sterling addition to your collection of antique English Blue Willow.
