The retractible pencil has a hand engraved stem, raised-set bloodstone capstone on the twist-off top, original gold filled suspension ring, and functioning slide mechanism. The stone on the end cap has a deep blue with a green reflective color. Removing the top reveals the writing graphite storage chamber.
