Antique Flow Blue Chinoiserie Large Waste Bowl with a decorative Chinoiserie design of a garden in the countryside beside a river. Waste bowls like this were used for pouring out the remaining cold tea before pouring another cup of hot tea.
Made in the 1880's by Petrus Regout of Maastricht. Stunning cobalt blue color, the interior has the same scene in the bottom and around the perimeter. There is a small edge chip which isn't unusual for a piece of pottery of this age. A wonderful addition to your blue and white antique pottery collection.
