Stunning 19th Century Lidded Preserving Pot from Provence, dates from the nineteenth-century, it has two handles and a glorious timeworn patina.  Pots like this are rare to find with the original lid, this one is a fantastic color. The lid is not likely to be the original but is a nice match.

Both the inside as well as the outside is glazed, the inside a dark brown color. Condition and wear consistent with age and use. A fantastic find, surely will be a star in your collection of these wonderful antique confit and preserving pots from France.
