Beautiful Mid 19th Century Gold Electrified Girandole Lamp, an American Rococo Revival style attributed to Cornelius & Co., Philadelphia, c.1845 to 1851. Originally part of a mantel 'garniture', it was electrified to become a table lamp. On the original marble base, with elaborate candle arm and crystals.
Her design is called Sultana. Wear, aging and patina as befitting a lady of her age. She was rewired by the last owner's parents, and works with a small turning knob on her base to switch the light on and off. Displays beautifully and totally captures the elegance and romance of the Victorian era. Does not include shade, your favorite clip on shade will work perfectly. We recommend that you have your electrician check this for current US safety standards.
