Antique French Chamberstick Candle Holder with Wick Trimmer. Charming streamlined design, the candle holder is from the late 1800's, the wick trimmer is from the 1900's. The wide lower 'dish' was designed to catch the wax drips as the candlestick was carried from room to room before electricity, and also reflect the flame's light.
