Antique Gold Plated French Lace Jeweled Vanity Tray with a lovely oval shape. The French lace insert is in between two glass plates, it is hand embroidered. The metal is gold colored, the handles have an elegant bow shape, each is set with a green glass stone jewel. Four little ball feet elevate the tray.
These gilded accessories were meant to emulate the ormolu pieces of the early 1800's. There is some darkened patina to the gilt as would be expected of a decorative tray of this age. The tray is in good condition, display this in your bedroom, your dressing room, your bathroom, or anywhere else where you want to add a touch of glamour! Has an aged patina, the glass has some wear as shown on the very edge.
