Pair of Antique English Silver & Mother of Pearl Butter Knives in Case, such lovely ones! Made by Martin Hall, of Sheffield, England, which began producing silver pieces in the early 1800's. The antique English silver plated and mother of pearl knives have hand carved spiral fluted MOP {nacre} handles, sterling silver collars.
The scalloped blades are bright cut hand engraved silver plate with a scrolled design and a beautiful shell detail. These date to the mid 1800's, they come in their green velvet and satin original case. A stunning addition to any table setting and a rare addition to your silver collection.
