Rare to find, this Antique Ironstone Round Bread Serving Board is heavy and stunning. Simple in design, much like the wooden antique bread boards, it has a wheat motif all around the edge. The board has a foot, it's from the late 1800's, very early 1900's.
That it is in this condition is a testimony about how much it was loved in all the years it served at a family's table. There is some slight discoloration {what you want to see in a piece of ironstone of this age} and one little chip on the rim which is so smooth it's either been there forever or it was done at the factory. Lovely for your collection, to serve bread, your world famous cake, or a small selection of cheeses.
