Wonderful, Antique Hours with Working Women, this book is a  First Edition.  Printed in the 1880's, by the Religious Tract Society, London, England. Created for "district visitors" to either lend to the wives or mothers of England's working class men, or to be read by a visiting nurse, to use for conducting Mother's meetings in small villages and towns.

A delight! The chapters are: The Hour of Hard Work; The Hour of Disappointment; The Hour of Irritation; The Hour of Sickness; The Hour of Joy; The Hour of Prayer; and The Hour of Death.  A Victorian historical treasure, with a few black and white illustrations sprinkled throughout. 96 pgs/ The book has a little wear, the pages have darkened, spine is tight. This has been carefully kept by a lover of books. Inside, award certificate for 1885, awarded by the vicar of Hampstead.
