Antique Silver Plated Tea Service with Floral Details, made by Barbour Silver Co. in the 1890's. Barbour Silver Co. was started by S. Barbour, I. Steane and J. Dagleish in Hartford CT in 1892. This set comes with a teapot, a sugar, a creamer and an open spoon holder. Not perfect, it is over 127 years old and was used and loved by generations of the same family.
Elegant shapes, the handles have a rococo feel to them. Each piece is embellished with an applied floral garland all the way around. There is some wear, most notably on the side and handle on the spoon holder. The pot has a few small scratches on one side, I've tried to show these. Please only adopt if you can live with silver that has enjoyed a lifetime of tea in the afternoon, and parties.
