Exquisite 19th Century Flow Blue Large Serving Platter, such a gorgeous design and a wonderful large size. Made by W. H. Grindley, Stoke on Trent, England - the company was founded in 1880, they designed and produced many patterns in fine bone china including a number of flow blue designs. This design has little bunches of clovers dancing around the perimeter, the central medallion is stunning.

Luminous cobalt blue and pristine white, the handles have embossed scrollwork. This pattern was created in 1890 at the height of flow blue popularity by W. H. Grindley & Co, Stoke, Staffordshire, England, and has their mark on the back. Age appropriate very good condition. This large platter is a showpiece and an exceptional addition to your collection of blue and white antique dishes.
