Antique Extra Large Flow Blue Serving Bowl made in 1900 by Johnson Brothers, Staffordshire, England. Bought by brothers, Alfred and Frederick Johnson, in 1883, the defunct pottery they bought {Charles Street Works} became Johnson Brothers and the largest earthenware manufacturer in the world by the end of the 1890's.

This bowl has the "Holland" design, it's similar the blue onion pattern produced by Meissen and other companies during the same period. The bowl has an elegant embossed scallop around the rim.  There are a few glaze misses on the underside and a few inclusions in the top glaze- not uncommon. Marked on the bottom with the Crown Mark.
