Beautiful Antique French Large Blown Glass Shop Display Jar, with such a presence. Faceted body, heavy lid with finial, this jar is a true work of art. Used as a shop display long ago, these were filled either with candy for sale, or often filled and displayed in the small shop windows as "advertising" for the type of candies sold in the village shop.
Wonderful condition with faceted sides, the top has two small chips to the final, I have tried to show this in the photo. A fabulous and rare to find addition to your home decor, fill with anything, or nothing - it's a lovely display piece.
