Stunning 1920's Stouffer Gold Encrusted Trio - a Tea Cup and Cake Plate, with an elegant embossed pattern. The fine porcelain tea cup and saucer blanks were made by Paul Moller Selb, whose company was purchased by Hutschenreuther in 1917, and a Hutschenreuther blank for the plate. Showing the fine workmanship of the Stouffer Studios, each is glamorous gold.
Rarer to find a trio, a cup and saucer, and a plate together, I love this set. From a collector, in good condition for their age. The top cup rim has two little indentions you can feel, both were glazed over. The plate has a few minuscule indentions as well as gold glaze minuscule roughness that you can feel, mentioned for accuracy. It is a beautiful set, with age appropriate wear.
