Stunning Antique Etched Floral and Bird Boudoir Mirror, with beautiful detailing. The large floral and meadow grass etched on the mirror is wonderful, but it's the bird and butterfly that really captivated my heart. These are rare to find in this condition. Wonderful beveled edges with scallop detail on every side, this is a thick mirror. Mirrors like this were sold as boudoir mirrors, but also as shaving mirrors for gentlemen.
There is a little bit of aging as would be expected of a mirror over a century old, what you want to see on antique mirrors. The original thick cord for hanging is still attached as shown. A small loss on the outside edge of one side as shown, this does not detract. No matter where you hang this beauty, it will make a statement!
