Exceptional 19th Century Silver Coffee or Tea Spoons, from an old European estate, these truly are exquisite spoons. Each spoon is heavy silver, the silver standard at the time these were made was 800/1000. Their design is classic, with elegant shaped bowls, the handles have a bead and ribbon embellishment. Finesse of design and quality of execution rarely seen.
The back features a fleur de lis design, as well as an etched crown over a noble crest at the top of the handle. Exceptional in both design and execution, this rare set will grace your table and will delight your guests. The design is gorgeous, these work well with any antique sterling but also with contemporary designs. Marked 800, sold by Carl Weishaupt in the mid 1800's, there is a hint of a gold wash, these spoons are of an age where just a hint remains. In good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use.
