Large Painted Mustard and Black Tole Tray with an oval shape and side handles. This tray has rolled edges, the center has a beautiful toile motif depicting a scene of the French countryside.
These trays are often termed "hand painted" but only the golden mustard color and black trim is hand painted, the toile pastoral design is done by a transfer process. The serving tray is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with wonderful details. Original patina with wear to the surface, please view the photos. A stellar tray for display.
