Beautiful Continental Large Painted Mustard Yellow and Black Tole Tray with an oval shape and cut out side handles. This tray has rolled edges, the center has a beautiful toile motif depicting a scene of the French countryside. The scene is particularly charming, it's a country scene with sheep.
These trays are often termed "hand painted" but only the golden mustard color and black trim was hand painted, the toile pastoral design was done using a transfer process. The serving tray is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with wonderful details. Original patina with wear to the surface, please view the photos. A stellar tray for display.
