Antique Light Blue Majolica Plate with Hibiscus Flower, made by Georg Schmeider of Zell, Germany in the early 1900's. A lovely pale blue color, with a basket weave design as the background. The pinky-red hibiscus flower has a yellow stamen, and gorgeous leaves in shades of green and blue.
A collectible plate, so pretty to add to your majolica collection. In very good condition, marked Made in Germany, this plate was meant for the American market. Shows kiln marks as you want to see on the antique plates like this.
