Beautiful Antique French Ribbon Rosette with Bullion Tassels, worn long ago for a special occasion such as a wedding or communion. Traditionally worn by children on a sleeve or the front of a dress or jacket. These used to be sewn on by hand, the family I bought this from added a safety pin long ago.
Made in the early 1900's, in good condition for its age, the tassel and ribbon have been preserved with great care. A wonderful addition to a pillow, a doll costume or your antique mannequin. Sold as found, bought in France.
