Antique Ironstone Small Pitcher with Monogram and Laurel Wreath marked James M. Shaw & Co. New York. In the late 1800's James M. Shaw & Co. distributed dishware from New York and England. They sold to restaurants, high-end resorts, steamships {including the Titanic} and the Navy. This pitcher was made by Lamberton,  owner Thomas Maddock's family were craftsmen and decorators for the Staffordshire Potteries in England for generations. 

The pitcher is wonderful, it has a green laurel wreath on the front tied with a pink bow and a green monogram. The back is undecorated. Marked on the bottom. A smaller size, perfect for cream on strawberries, maple syrup, or your best garden roses.

  • Measures 5-1/4" h x 4-1/2" x 3-1/2".
