Charming Baby or Child's Cup, this Victorian Christening Cup was made in the late 1800's of quadruple plated silver. The front has an embossed parrot perched on a flowering branch. Not in the most amazing condition, there is darkening on the plate and evidence of being used by generations of small ones. Little cups like this were favored as gifts for a baby's birth or christening.
Condition as shown, made by Tufts of Boston Ma. A lovely addition to your collection, or the beginning of one, if you don't mind the wear, it is slightly out of round. This cup was used and loved by several generations of the same family. Will look amazing displayed with your antique children's books and dolls, bears and toys too.
