This Victorian White Ironstone Aspic Mold was used by cook to mold several different food creations such as jellies, aspics and small puddings into beautiful shapes to be served with pride on a platter. The charming decorative design inside the bowl of the mold showed on the exterior of the jelly or pudding when turned onto the platter.
Such a stunning presentation at table! This mold is quite heavy, and a smaller size that made it just perfect for a lobster aspic for luncheon, Madame's favorite. Marked with B.5 on the top.
