A rare find, this 19th Century Blue and White Marble Ironstone Platter has a marble design. Beautiful 8 sided paneled shape, a fabulous addition to your collection of flow blue pieces or to liven up your ironstone collection. Marble is one of the rarest to find Aesthetic ironstone designs, made by Livesley Powell & Company, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, England in the 1850's. 
 
Use it to present your world famous cake on {at least your family and friends think it's famous!}, to use as a place for your wonderful mail on your French desk {wonderful mail=invitations, cards from people you love, fashion show invitations from Chanel} {other mail=bills, put those somewhere else!}
