How fun is this?! This Hotel St. Francis Wine List Booklet is from the early 1930's, and is a little drinks menu for room service in the grand hotel. The St. Francis Hotel was begun by the trustees of the estate of Charles Crocker, one of "The Big Four" railroad magnates who built the western portion of the transcontinental railway. It was built as an investment for Crocker's two young grandchildren.

This drinks menu is charming, it rates champagnes and wines from 1910 to 1933, the most expensive bottle of wine was $8.00, most were 2 to 3 dollars per bottle. The most expensive bottle of champagne was $9.00, You could buy a bottle of Courvoisier for $5.75. A fun addition to your Hotel Silver collection, and a sweet souvenir of this grand hotel. Cover has staining {most likely from champagne or cocktails ordered} the inside is in good condition. 17pages.

  • Measures 7-7/8" x5-1/4".
