Beautiful Antique Victorian Pottery Jelly Mold, used long ago to create jellies, food in aspic, and puddings. The outside is a plain glazed chocolate brown, it's the inside that created the ornate lovely designs on the outside of the "jelly" once it was inverted onto a platter. The very top of the mold has a flower, so charming!
A lovely country piece, it is in wonderful condition for its age. Heavy, with craquelure on the inside and a few small edge chips. This has been used and no doubt caused "oohhss" and "aahhhs" at the table on family occasions.
