Wonderful Antique French Mother of Pearl Serving Bowl Set, a set of three. Bought in France, one large bowl, a Souvenir bowl on a foot, and the tiniest little hand carved bowl shaped like a basket. The souvenir bowl is from the seaside resort of Prefailles, France, a beloved vacation destination in the 1800's and still today.
From a collector of all things caviar, these three are shiny and luminous. The Souvenir bowl is a little wobbly on its stand after all these decades it is delicate, and most likely for display only, but absolutely beautiful. The larger bowl has a chip and a tight hairline on one side. For you if you adore caviar, or the luminous quality of mother of pearl!
