Antique Hand Painted Flowers Gold Mark Chocolate for One Set, from a time when chocolate was precious. This is a gorgeous small set, pls. note the measurements, each piece hand painted with petit flowers and elaborate gilt detailing. The set consists of an oval tray with an indention to hold your spoon, a small chocolate pot, a small bowl to drink from, and a small pitcher to hold cream. The lid has a pierced longer portion, to be able to pour slowly, or faster depending on which side is in front of the spout.
The tray is marked with the crowned swords, and the usual gold overpainted flower that covers the blank maker, a usual practice for Dresden porcelains. The other pieces are signed on the bottom Delveaux, 18 Rue Royale, Paris, for the prestigious shop founded in 1880's selling only the best, Baccarat glass, Limoges, Dresden and other luxury porcelains. From a collector, in very good antique condition, with slight wear to the gilt, this has only been displayed.
